It’s always a challenge to find somewhere to hang clothes, beach towels, and bath towels for outdoor drying.
I used scrap wood to make a bracket to attach to our ladder without using screws.
To that frame, I attached a retractable clothesline reel. We hold it in place with velcro straps. When we travel it can be quickly taken down.
We can attach the other end of the line to a tree or the pole of the awning if it is out. Depending on what you hang, it could provide sun and a privacy block. It has been very useful.
For this project, I used scrap wood, nails, screws, a clothesline reel, and velcro scraps. It took me one hour to complete this modification and cost me $27.
In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is medium.
