From Sugarcreek, Ohio comes a new version of the Cirrus 820 featuring the light birch cabinetry first shown in the Cirrus 920 flagship model. Only fifteen 2024 Cirrus 820 Limited Editions will be built. If you want one, act fast!
Since debuting as the Cirrus 800 in 2016, nuCamp’s Cirrus 820 has become one of the most highly evolved and refined truck campers on the market. By consistently listening to their customers and dealers, and taking action from the recommendations they receive, nuCamp has improved the Cirrus 820 again, and again, and again.

For 2024, nuCamp is offering a very limited run of fifteen Cirrus 820 truck campers featuring the light birch cabinetry first seen in the ground-breaking 2024 Cirrus 920. The color difference between the standard 820 and the 820 Limited Edition is quite striking giving the camper interior a very different presentation.
Ready to shake the grey? The 820 Limited Edition could be just the ticket.
The 2024 Cirrus 820 Limited Edition comes exclusively in the ‘dark mode’ charcoal exterior color nuCamp first introduced in 2022. Calling out its pedigree, the Limited Edition also features accent graphics and Limited Edition badging on the front nose and rear wall. The look is both subtle and distinctly high-end.
Beyond the light birch cabinetry and graphics, the Cirrus 820 Limited Edition comes with everything the standard Cirrus 820 does. That includes the Alde hydronic heat and hot water system we raved about after a seven-month field test in 2018. It’s a remarkable system that could be the decision-maker for many Cirrus buyers, especially anyone who camps in the cold. We loved it.
Another area nuCamp significantly enhanced in the 820 was the dinette. The dinette in the 820 was elevated and redesigned for more comfort and headroom. The storage above the dinette was minimized to a six-foot shelf to make this improved dinette possible, but trade-offs are the name of the truck camper design game. In this instance, the new dinette is well worth the sacrifice, and the storage enhancements throughout the updated 820 make up for the loss.
Another stand-out feature of the current Cirrus 820 and Limited Edition is the updated wet bath. For 2023, nuCamp did away with the fold-down sink and moved to a custom-molded ceramic sink that offers superior quality and reliability.
The new sink is exceptionally modern in design and efficient in its use of space. Of all the upgrades nuCamp announced for 2023, the new sink and bathroom design was by far our favorite.
Of course, the 2024 Cirrus 820 and Limited Editions also come with all the other standard 820 features including an Isotherm 130 Cruise 4.6 cubic foot 12-volt refrigerator (shown above), a 1,200-watt pure sine wave inverter, a 100Ah Battle Born lithium battery (shown below), electric jacks, rear and side awnings, two solar panels (370 watts total), Cirrus’s signature huge stargazer window in the cabover, and the Froli bed system.
We liked the Froli bed system so much in our borrowed 920 that we got a Froli system for our personal camper. It’s a game-changer.
For anyone who wants to turn the Cirrus 820 Limited Edition into a mini-920, you can opt for the Lithium Package ($9,995) that bumps the battery bank up to 500 amp hours of Battle Born lithium batteries with internal heaters, Bluetooth-connected smart shunt, an upgraded 3,000-watt inverter/charger. Want to run your air conditioner off-grid for five hours? nuCamp says you can cool it.
Only Fifteen Units
There will be only fifteen 2024 Cirrus 820 Limited Edition units. In fact, at least one is already at D&H RV in North Carolina. Additional units are likely on the way to Princess Craft RV in Texas and Southland RV in Georgia. If you want one, you better move fast.
