I have done many mods on my camper, but thought I would share this one since it is simple. I got tired of trying to keep the hose in while filling the fresh water tank. The weight of the hose and the water under pressure would force the hose out of the filling port.
I decided that I needed some way to hold the hose while filling. So I took a piece of 2×2 aluminum angle that I fabricated.
I also fabricated a holder for the filler hose connector.
It has worked out great! It took me a half hour to complete this modification and cost me $5 for simple hardware parts. In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is easy.
