This photo was taken near the town of Dingwall. Pulling over to catch a break after our trip on the dirt road to Meat Cove, the sun broke through and we were treated to this great rainbow.

This is at the Englishtown Cable Ferry, where the ferry is pulled across the inlet by a wire rope. Lots of rain on our trip - so this photo captures the heavy cloud conditions that we faced on many days of our trip. Our truck camper kept us warm and dry in spite of some days of torrential rain.

Past grazing cattle and one wire gate we were shocked by the beauty, solitude and calm of this perfect lakeside camping site.

This year, I wasn’t feeling very motivated to take a lot of photos and submit any to the calendar contest. I often feel that it’s just a popularity contest. But last night, as I was enjoying the smell of the desert rain, the sun peaked out just at sunset and created this gorgeous rainbow. I couldn’t help myself, I had to take a bunch of photos. This one was one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Deep gratitude for this beautiful gift.

But spirit works in funny ways and just two days before the deadline, gave me a epic opportunity to take some beautiful photos of Rosie the big brown truck. I was camping in the sand flats in Moab, Utah, enjoying the smell of the desert rain, when the setting sun peeked through the clouds, creating this beautiful rainbow. I just had to take these photos. Rosie has been our home for the last 4 1/2 years as we travel throughout the United States and Canada. This may be our last year of full-time travel and we are grateful for these continued amazing experiences.

We just happened to see petroglyphs on the side of the road, so we quickly pulled over to get a closer look. It was a fantastic 8 Days. Other than the two days at Tuktoyaktuk we boondocked all the way there and back. When we were in Tuktoyaktuk Beluga whales came through the bay. We enjoyed it so much we are planning to go again in 2026. Overall, we traveled 19144 miles in 14 weeks. Five weeks in Canada, seven weeks in Alaska, and two in the lower 48.

We found this campsite using iOverlander app and it was absolutely beautiful. Definitely in the top five campsites of the 14 week 19144 mile journey! There were wild blueberries all over the camping site. There were several Eagles flying all around the river valley. While it was a little difficult to get into the campsite, it was well worth the effort! The next day on the way saw six moose at various locations along the highway.

Beautiful Hike. We only saw one other couple the entire hike. When we started looking for a campsite, we found this back a two track off the Richardson Highway. You could see the mountains in about every direction and you could hear the river all night long!

On a BC backroad in ranch country it was pitch black at night, and while driving for what seemed forever and looking for a place to pull over and set up camp, I could see a reflection of the moon on a lake. I couldn’t believe my luck when I woke up in the morning to this view, the loons calling and trout rising. It was home for a few days while I explored more of beautiful British Columbia. There were horseback / cross country ski trails. A rancher, his wife and border collies pushed a small herd of cattle past camp the first day. They advised us of some good trails to ride and we were off, making it back just in time for the evening hatch on the lake. Apart from a few fisherman and ranchers we had this amazing place all to ourselves.

Believe it or not, we had no idea who the people in the side by sides were. We had set up to take a couple shots of our truck and camper in this red rock canyon and as I was driving down the road approaching my son with the camera, I realized some sweet rigs had caught up to me! My son had one chance and ended up snapping the perfect shot of the coolest accidental convoy in history. Sorry for the dust guys but hey, the shot was worth it.

We departed Port aux Basques late in the evening and decided to stop at Codroy campground in Doyal, Newfoundland to get a good night’s rest. The photo was taken at 10:44 pm as the moon rose above us.

We took our time that day getting across the UP, stopping at the very unique Kitch-iti-kipi as well, until we realized we'd be cutting it close to get to Tahquamenon Falls before sunset. We just barely made it to see the trees

Although we have spent plenty of time in national parks we had the understanding we’d be able to show up to this park and find dispersed camping without a reservation. We arrived to a visitor center with only a couple hours of light left and were promptly informed that all but a couple campsites in the park were booked for the night. There was one site available on the outskirts of the park near the Rio Grande and Mariscal Canyon. After quite a drive we made it just in time for golden hour. We hiked the canyon in the morning before continuing our cross country trip east.

I was a vendor there for four days and three nights. In the background to the right of the front of my truck camper is a replica re-created town of the original town of Buckley, complete with working, barber shop, general store, leather shop, and more, also a working water tower with working steam engine in town that people can ride around the grounds. To the left are the railroad tracks with a tractor crossing over. Amazing family event for all ages.

My husband, Scott, for 32 years and myself for 8 years. This was our first trip back to stay for a few weeks after we moved out in 2021. We had a ball being tourists. We enjoyed the spectacular scenery, we made friends with folks at campgrounds along the way, we reconnected with old friends and coworkers and of course spent time with our dear loved ones. Our dogs, Lenny and Gracie, two adopted great danes, were consummate travelers. At night they curl up on the floor. During the day we had a portable fence for them. We did have to laugh at the big diesel pushers with the tiny yorkies or chihuahuas in the front seats! It was a wonderful trip and totally without one mechanical issue. The Lord kept us safe!

We wanted an early start the next day to beat the 7 o'clock timed entry deadline to enter the park. After sitting outside in our bathing suits in the desert waiting for the cooler night air we were treated to yet another great southwest sunset. I especially liked this picture because of the little squiggly cloud and the glowing light shining off the truck and camper. Our two weeks of travel were winding down and I knew I would miss these sunny desert views when we were back in Michigan.

We did enjoy kayaking on Hamlin Lake but were only partly successful at avoiding crowds of people. I couldn't wait to get out of the constant campfire smoke so on our last morning we hooked up and headed down the road. We pulled over at the edge of Lake Michigan outside of Ludington State Park and made our coffee in the camper. We enjoyed the smokeless wind blowing in off the lake while we wandered in the sand with our hot mugs of joe. So much better.

If we would have had a large Class C or a Class A we wouldn't have been able to make it since it had some tight turns and steep sections to the road. We camped in the Furnace Creek Campground and used Starlink during our stay. If you've never been to Death Valley, we highly recommend checking it out!

We found this spot next to a river, with mountains surrounding us on all sides. After spending a night at this spot we decided to stay there for a few days. It's a million dollar view to open up the door and see a river in your backyard with the sun hitting the mountain peaks and listen to the water. This location was about 100ft away from a gravel road with no houses or services around for at least 20 miles.

Everyone on the island was seeking warmth and the reassuring feelings that being outside brings after a cold winter, and the fresh air after the excessively wet April,May, June was on everyone's mind and to and to the excitement the salmon were running so we had to head out the road to camp and try to fill our freezers. It was rater warm that night so we barely had to burn any wood but the camper fire had the perfect coals to grill up our fresh caught salmon fillet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our drive stopping frequently to spend a little time being awestruck by the natural beauty of the Navajo Tribal Park.

So I took Gaston Road seven miles south which turned out to be the consistency of a DQ Blizzard made of sand and asphalt chunks. The original plan of heading down forest road 211 was abandoned and we spent a beautiful night boondocking in the sandhills under the watchful eyes of a herd of black angus. The drive out was slow and stressful but the rig performed perfectly.

When this photo was taken a superbloom of yellow flowers was occurring due to the previous cool wet winter. In this photo I snapped the sun’s orange glow and last light on the desert after it had already disappeared below the horizon.

We spent the weekend exploring and by recommendation of KingStar traveled to Brockway Mountain, where we captured this incredible shot. We spent the day and night at this location, with the cloud bank rolling in overnight to an absolutely magical night and morning. Brockway Mountain is a scenic road near Copper Harbor, where you can see the rolling mountains of UP on one side and Lake Superior on the other.

This took us north up into Canada, with a destination of Whistler, BC. We are avid mountain bikers and it is the iconic downhill bike park. We explored the area for a day and found this mountain road that ended in an Olympic dogsledding training park. We found this pull off that provided a fantastic view of the peak we were circling.

This campsite was one that is generously offered and maintained on private property to anyone who needs a place to rest. This shot is the dirt road we traveled to get to the campsite. The air was slightly polluted from the Canadian wildfires, but the amazing landscape and openness of southwestern Colorado were still obvious.
