In the world of truck campers, Capri is singular. Founded in 1969 in Texas, the proudly old-school truck campers were something of a closely held secret of professional rodeo cowboys until the late 2010s. Once the secret got out, Capri started to run.
In addition to a roster of professional rodeo champions, including Fallon Taylor and Bradley Harter, Yellowstone stars Jen Landon and Ryan Bingham found escape, adventure and solitude in their Capri Campers. Then, NFL Panthers’ Defensive Tackle, Matt Ioannidis and platinum-certified country music star, Chase Rice added Capris to their outdoor lifestyles.

Following in their footsteps are hundreds of Capri Camper owners across the United States and Canada. Not all of them are rodeo champions, television stars, NFL players, or platinum-selling country artists, but they’re all chasing the same dream: ultimate freedom, adventure, and comfort.
All of this came to mind when we visited the all-new Capri Camper website. Part of a broader branding campaign, the new site features a cinematic brand anthem video showcasing Capri’s identity, vision, and purpose. The video was made by award-winning director and cinematographer Bud Force.

On the business end, the new site features a build and price system for Capri’s Retreat (cabover) and the Cowboy (non-cabover) models. The builder allows you to design your own quilted diamond base, stripes, accent, and fixture colors. You can even try different truck colors. Try it. It’s fun!
As a side note, Capri was recently granted a trademark on their quilted aluminum pattern. It’s not just their trademark look. It’s now officially trademarked.
