For 2026, Northstar has added two new Star RV refrigerator options to the 850SC. We normally don’t get too excited about a new refrigerator or two, but these two units bring interesting dynamics to the 850SC.
First up, the Star D is a 3.5 cubic foot 12-volt compressor refrigerator with reversible doors, digital display, a crisper drawer, and dual-zone temperature controls. With the dual-zone temperature controls, you can literally set the top and bottom to different or the same temperatures. Need both to be refrigerators or freezers? You can do that!
As cool as the Star D refrigerator is, the new drawer refrigerator is what really got our attention. To be clear, this refrigerator is available in addition to the Star D above. That’s right, cold adult beverage fans, this camper can be optioned with two refrigerators!
Now when you start playing with the temperature controls on the Star D and the drawer unit, you can have three freezers, or three refrigerators, or one freezer and two refrigerators, or two freezers and one refrigerator. Never before in pop-up camper history has there been so many cool choices.
For 2026, Northstar has added the acacia countertop seen on Northstar’s more recent models, including the GMAX series and 10X hard side.
We suspect we’ll see more of this gorgeous countertop choice in future Northstar announcements. Northstar has also upgraded to a deeper glass top sink with a teak cutting board.
The rest of the camper has been enhanced with Northstar’s latest interior and exterior including black accents and black Happijac jacks. And the 850SC is finished with a new entry door.
With a full wet bath including toilet and shower, 30 gallons of fresh, 13 gallons of grey, a 5-gallon cassette toilet, RV-queen bed, up to two 12-volt refrigerators, 200 watts of solar, and a 1,785-pound dry weight, the 2026 Northstar 850SC—at a base MSRP of $31,175—is a compelling choice.
With its latest updates—dual refrigerators, refined galley finishes, black exterior accents—it demonstrates how Northstar continues to evolve one of the most capable pop-up campers on the market.
Oh, and don’t forget the unique 850SC XB pop-out bed option (pictured below). For anyone with pets, kids, grandkids, or the occasional guest, the XB could put the 850SC over the top.
