I needed a location for a solar charge controller and got a bonus!

Undersink Storage Behind Door

I removed the false panel door, swung the hinges 90-degrees, and added a knob. This gave me access to mount the baby breaker panel, solar charge controller, and a spice rack. Once again, I maximized my available storage space.

Undersink Storage Door Open

A bonus to leaving the door open is a soft blue ambient light from the solar charge controller to diffuse through the lower section of the truck camper at night.

Undersink Storage Dividers

For the spice box, I used half-inch plywood; three 12-inch rows. I used what I had in the scrap bin. Quarter-inch plywood would be better. It is essentially the same material for the solar controller and baby panel. The knob was $3.

It took me one hour for the spice box, four for the solar controller and the baby panel took an hour. The total cost was $5.  In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is easy.
