Table Original To Lance 960 Camper

Above: The one table original to the Lance 960 camper

I have a Lance 960 that came with two recliners and one large table in the middle. With one table, we found that we could not both eat off the table comfortably.

Everything in our camper should serve more than one purpose. The tables were made in Nova Scotia for $120 including stain and they are the exact dimensions of the sink.

Table Is Also A Sunken Sink Surface

If we wanted to, we could place one in the sink and use it as extra counter space.  The tables are 21 1/8-inches by 13 3/4-inches (538mm by 347mm).

Table Gauche With Step Box Storage

I built the box step using wood I had on hand at my brother in law’s place. He has a lot of power tools.  That box step serves as a parking place for our solar generator, an Ecoflow River Max Lithium battery. It is a much better step to go up to the bed area and it doubles as a support for the table leg.

Table Cote Et Bras

For this mod we selected the EZ-Reach table leg support. A big advantage of the EZ-Reach is that you can place the table on the leg without the swing arm. That way you have a nice side table. Lance had their leg system positioned on the floor which means no vertical adjustment. Each of us having our own table that swings out to the side is so much better. We love it.

Second Table And Chair In Lance 960

Now we both have our own table. It is so much easier to get up during meals to get an item forgotten in the refrigerator or for whatever reason. The table closest to the bed can be used as a counter extension and the one close to the refrigerator can be lowered and placed below the refrigerator to help with loading or just moving things.

Wood was cut to shape to make the step used to support both tables. I had to buy some new screws for about $3. The EZ-Reach table was about $350, with customs duties. It would be much cheaper in the USA. The two new table tops were made in Nova Scotia for $120 including the stain.

It took me 5-hours to complete this modification and cost me $473 Canadian (about $365 USD).  In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is easy.
