Torklift GlowStep Extension Bracket
2015 Ford F-250
2021 Adventurer 80RB
I like to leave the tailgate down on my 2015 Ford F-250. My wife could not climb into the camper with the tailgate down. Because of that, the steps did not fit right to my 2021 Adventurer 80RB.
To fit the steps, I needed an extension from the camper bracket to the stairs. I found scrap aluminum plate, cut out extensions, and drilled holes.
Next, I went to Rona and got two lock pins. I had to use a 3/8 drill and an angle grinder with a cut-off wheel. I then figured out a way to carry the stairs on the camper tailgate step.
Note the steps can be detached for travel. It takes about two minutes to attach them again.
With this new solution, my wife will now get in the camper.
It took me 2.5 hours to complete this modification and cost me under $10.
