Poplar and Black Walnut Table
2018 Ford F250
2015 Palomino SS-550
I never did like the small round table that came in our camper. It was tippy, stuck out too far, and was very small.
I decided to go with a bigger table attached to the wall. I found the brackets through a marine supply store.
I chose to use a strip-built top of poplar and black walnut on a plywood substrate. I initially started a little too large with a nice steam bent edge and found it needed trimming. The top is finished with table top epoxy.
I much prefer the size and sturdiness of my new table. I am still able to stow the table and make up the bunk.
It took me more than 40-hours to complete this modification and cost me $24 for the brackets and $75 for the table top. In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is medium.
