Exterior Buyers Storage Box With A Bonus

I wanted to add some additional storage space to my camper. Doesn’t everyone?
The new storage addition holds odds and ends for easy access; chocks, leveling pads, and a fire starter. It frees up my side storage area to hold all of my Blackstone accessories. That’s a big plus for me.
I purchased a Buyers truck box that fit perfectly on the camper step and under the rear taillight of the camper. The box was only available in black. Being the anal person I am, I had it powder-coated white to match the camper. I had to dismantle the box for powder coating so the box items did not melt in the heating process required for powder-coat.
I transferred the camper’s hold-down bolt locations to the bottom of the box. I was able to keep and use the four camper bumper mounting bolts to secure the new storage box to the camper.
This mod is working out exceptionally well! It doesn’t look very large, but it can hold a lot of stuff and it makes it easy to get to the items that are used frequently. It also freed up my side storage box (generator storage box) for all my Blackstone accessories. Double bonus!
Note: I also use the top of the box for outside food prep. I have a cutting board that fits perfectly on top of the box. I have added a knife and fire starter to the box lid (Velcro) for easy access.
