Beach Umbrella Rear Awning

I was looking for an inexpensive awning for our 2003 Lance truck camper. I went to Lowe’s and purchased a clearance beach umbrella.
I have a rear ladder on the camper. All I had to do was slip the shaft of the umbrella into the bottom rungs. That was it!
We didn’t have the need to utilize it last fall, so the test will be this year. If we’re traveling and go to the beach, we can bring the shade with us.
It took me one hour to complete this modification and cost me about $100.
