For first aid medical supplies, we carry Tylenol, band aids, and hydrogen peroxide. That’s it. On balance, that’s all we’ve really needed for the occasional head aches, cuts, and scrapes we’ve experienced while truck camping. For all the miles we have traveled and trails we have hiked, we have been incredibly lucky.
Of course luck isn’t a good plan when it comes to health and well being. We should have an honest to goodness first aid kit with us at all times, and keep it properly stocked.
This week’s Question of the Week is, “Do you have a first aid kit in your truck camper?” Thank you, Tom Bierschenk, inspiring this week’s question.
If you do have a first aid kit, tell us about it. Is it a small and simple kit, or do you have something bigger and more elaborate? And have you ever actually had to use the contents of your first aid kit?
With your feedback, we will order a first aid kit for our truck camper and encourage others to do the same.
