We traveled the desert southwest in September and October 2024 and landed at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. We booked with a tour and rally camped next to the field where 540 hot air balloons took off each morning. This trip should be on everyone’s bucket list!

A beautiful sunset was developing, so I went outside to capture the fire in the sky at St. Andrew’s State Park, Panama City, Florida. It was our first time camping at the park, and we were lucky enough to secure a waterfront site!

As relatively new owners of the rig, we love to take baby pictures of the Denali 3S. We were staying in an RV Resort after being off the grid in Joshua Tree National Park for five days. It was a full moon, and the light that it was casting was amazing, with some haze in the sky that softened the lighting was also there. The camping spot was on a hill, so a picture from as low as possible to create an aspirational look was selected. This was a brief interlude as we enjoyed the evening, the wine, and each other.

We decided to upgrade our camper from a 2015 Eagle Cap 1165 to a Host Cascade. We are heading back to the East Coast to spend time with family before getting back on the road. We have been full-time for six years now and just love traveling through North America. We went to the Truck camper rally in Quartzite, Arizona. What a great rally to make friends and learn new things. This is our second time attending the rally, and we will continue to participate, God willing.

We had been at the truck camper rally in Quartzsite and visited Canyonlands National Park on our way out of Arizona, on our way back to Eastern Canada. The photo was taken at the Needles Overlook.

I think truck camping should be a well-rounded fun experience, even down to what’s hauling it. Khaki Bob (the truck) and our camper fit practically anywhere. Sometimes it’s nice to be in our three-quarter ton, but other days it’s nice to bring constant smiles to everyone that you pass on your adventures. It even expresses how fun truck camping can be to others who don’t understand the concept quite yet.

I just finished restoring this Bigfoot to sell. The picture is from a photo shoot I did across the street from my shop in Kenwood, California, at Kenwood Winery, Sonoma Valley. It’s a beautiful place to take pictures of a pristine Bigfoot camper.
