nuCamp RV President, Jesse Mullet, steps in as CEO as seventeen-year nuCamp RV veteran, Scott Hubble, steps down.
From our earliest interactions with nuCamp in 2015, we have been struck by their cultural openness to feedback and suggestions. The impact of this approach is what led to the transformation of the first-generation Cirrus 800 to the best-selling Cirrus 820.
Since those early days, nuCamp has also led with a fearless commitment to cutting-edge technologies. To this day, they are still the only truck camper company that exclusively features the Alde hydronic heating system. The more recently announced Cirrus 920 arguably represents the state-of-the-art in production truck camper technology and systems.
Where does that open culture and steadfast focus on technology come from? The top.
Anyone who has known Scott Hubble, CEO of nuCamp RV, knew he not only welcomed feedback, but would go out of his way to ask for it. And if you steered the conversation into the technology behind nuCamp’s products and factory, there was no doubt that Scott was leading that charge.
Last week we received a call from Scott Hubble, CEO of nuCamp RV. He informed us that, after months of personal deliberation, he was stepping down from his leadership position. He proudly reflected on his remarkable career and transformational accomplishments at nuCamp, and expressed a longing for a new professional chapter. Speaking from experience, entrepreneurs sometimes need new challenges.
Jesse Mullet, President of nuCamp RV, will be stepping into the role of CEO. Jesse is the son of Joe Mullet, the Founder of nuCamp RV, and has worked side-by-side with Scott and his father on nuCamp’s cultural foundations, products, and growth. Jesse is also an avid cyclist having rode his bicycle across the country to raise money for a local adoption support agency.
We wish Scott Hubble well in his next adventures and look forward to following what comes. If past performance is any measure, Scott Hubble is one to watch.
