Eagle Cap has released photographs and information to Truck Camper Magazine on their new Eagle Cap 855 camper. The new camper fits a short or long box truck and features a forward wet bath, a straight design galley, and a standard dinette.

Specifications Overview
The capacities of the enclosed, insulated, and heated holding tanks on the Eagle Cap 855 are 46 gallons fresh, 26 gallons grey, and 24 gallons black. The floor length is 9’4” and the interior height in 6’6”. The overall length is 17’4” and the exterior width is 8’.
Eagle Cap is reporting the estimated dry weight for the Model 855 at 2,870 pounds and the estimated wet weight at 3,275 pounds.
Standard features on the new camper include a six-cubic foot double-door two-way refrigerator, a three-burner range with oven, a 30,000 BTU forced air furnace, a six-gallon gas/electric auto ignition water heater, and one 20-pound vertical LPG tank.
Construction
The framing on the new Eagle Cap is reinforced two-inch aluminum with solid block foam and vacuum bonded walls, wings, rails, floor, cabover, and roof. The roof has a three-inch crown structure, which Eagle Cap reports gives the roof an R-17 insulation factor. Eagle Cap reports an R-11 insulation factor for their sidewalls.
The exterior features Eagle Cap’s high gloss gel-coat finish and sealed fiberglass lower body, wings, and rails. The Eagle Cap 855 also features one-piece fiberglass front and rear caps. The windows are dual pane, thermal, and tinted. The electrical system has a 45-amp electronic power converter with Charge Wizard, a battery box that can hold two batteries, and is generator ready. The unit also comes pre-wired for a roof air conditioner, Fantastic vent, television antenna, satellite dish, stereo with internal and external speakers, solar panel, and microwave.
The Interior
The cabinetry in the Eagle Cap 855 has solid oak framed cabinet doors and drawer fronts. The galley counter tops are solid granite coat and feature a double sink, solid oak counter back splash, and high spout faucet. In the cabover bedroom, the Eagle Cap Model 855 features two pivoting high-output halogen reading lights, mirrored wardrobe cabinets, 60” x 80” queen innerspring mattress, and décor matching camo mattress comforter and pillow shams. The Eagle Cap 855 wet bath has a full-height fiberglass shower stall, a shower skylight, and mirrored sliding bath door. The dinette features a granite coat dinette table.
