The new is in, the discontinued is out, and every model number, floor plan, weight, dimension, capacity, spec, and MSRP is now current. Meet the class of 2014.
Over the past fifteen years, the internet has come to dominate as the source of pre-purchase research and information for everything. From houses and cars, to colleges, spouses, and toaster ovens, you can now literally shop for anything online.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t speak to the quality of the internet shopping experience. For potentially complex purchases, like truck campers, the ocean of information and opinions on the internet can create as much confusion as it offers convenience.
Since its inception, Truck Camper Magazine has kept within its core mission to cut through this potentially dream-hindering tangle and present, quite simply, the information you need. To that end, our Buyers Guide and Gear Guide are the clearest expressions of this mission. We take these two sections, and their maintenance, very seriously.
Speaking of maintenance, Angela has been chasing down the manufacturers with her usual vigor, making sure every new model has been added, discontinued model deleted, MSRP updated, and weight and specification verified as current. In fact, the information in the Buyers Guide and Gear Guide is more current than what you’ll find on many of the manufacturer’s own websites.
We also should point out that both the Buyers Guide and Gear Guides are updated throughout the year as new campers and gear information becomes available. Whether you’re shopping triple-slides or turnbuckles, pop-ups or suspension enhancements, the 2014 Buyers Guide and Gear Guides are always ready to go.
