Before Battery Spacer

The batteries on my Northern Lite 10-2 EX CDSE were getting scratched and ground because the screws were not fully counter sunk and the battery straps did not prevent movement.

Battery Spacer Handle In Storage Box

For this mod, I countersunk the screws, added a couple of tie-downs, and made a wood spacer so the batteries don’t move inside the compartment.

Since my modification, the battery has not moved.  It took me one hour to complete this modification and cost me nothing.  In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is easy.
