Wet Bath Storage Using Marine Access Hatch
2016 Chevy 3500HD
2018 Arctic Fox 811
I wanted to improve storage in my wet bath. There’s a lot of wasted space under and between the shelf in the wet bath and the top of the LP tank box.
I found that there are approximately two square feet of extra space.
I purchased a marine access hatch. Then I relocated the toilet paper holder (pictures above and below). I cut a hole with a jigsaw, drilled mounting screw holes, caulked and installed.
The new storage has worked out fantastic. We store all of our chemicals, toilet paper, and bath supplies inside the area with bins.
It took me 2.5-hours to complete this modification and cost me $90. In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is medium.
