Quick and Easy Door Sunshade

While driving north and south with my truck camper, the sun was always coming into my truck’s driver’s side window in the morning or evening. Unfortunately, my driver’s side sun visor can pivot, but it cannot extend. It leaves a spot where the sun can shine in and hit the side of my head.
To solve this problem, I started with a piece of 1/16-inch thick piece of white vinyl about 5-inches tall.
Then I custom cut it to fit my door by sliding it between the seal and the window.
Because both truck doors are identical, it works on both the left and right sides of the vehicle depending on where the sun is shining. You just slide it up and it pinches in between the seal and the window holding it snugly in place.
Bumps from the road and shutting the door do not displace it because it is so light. It is also conveniently stored between the seat and the console making access quick and easy.

My wife and I have both used this sunshade and it has worked spectacularly!
It took me one hour to complete this modification and cost me $5. In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is easy.
