Privacy Curtain Using Expandable Curtain Rod
2017 Ram 5500
2017 Northern Lite 10’2″
There are usually just the two of us when we travel. This past month our adult daughter who lives in northern California asked if she could join us as we traveled back to Ohio. Of course we said yes!
She traveled many miles with us when she was younger. I wanted her to have a dressing room to use while she showered or got ready for bed.
Our modification was to purchase an expandable 28-inch curtain rod and a light-blocking curtain. It can be placed anywhere in the area of the rear bath and back door on our Northern Lite 10-2. When it’s not in use, we just slide the curtain to one side.
This was a very inexpensive way to add a dressing room to our camper. Also, my husband likes to get up and go outside before I’m out of bed. We move the rod close to the back door so the door can stay open and I can have privacy to get dressed.
It took me 20-minutes to complete this modification and cost me $18. In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is easy.
