Floor Riser and Hidden Shoe Storage
1998 Ford F-150
2023 Phoenix L2
Many truck campers have a high kitchen counter. I designed an easy way to elevate yourself and put the countertop at a more comfortable height.
I built a sturdy wooden riser with open space underneath using 3/4-inch plywood, glue, and screws. I sanded it and used a wood finish. All supplies can be found at a home improvement store.
Standing on the riser makes the countertop feel more comfortable. Under the riser is a nice place to hide a few pairs of shoes.
It took me two hours to complete this modification and cost me $100. In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is medium.
