Camper Stove Grate Upgrade
2001 Ford F-350
2012 Chalet DS116RB
This is a one-minute modification to upgrade the appearance of an RV gas stove. By simply removing the old rusted wire grate and replacing it with a new porcelain-coated stamped steel one made a huge appearance upgrade to my RV galley.
My existing wire grate covering my RV stove had become rusted and pitted after ten years of use.
The easy and best way to fix this problem was to purchase a new porcelain-coated stamped steel one and simply replace the old one with a Suburban 521121 Deluxe Cooking Grate. The entire project took 1 minute!
Note: For some strange reason you get two grates, not one. One for a friend?
The appearance upgrade has been spectacular! The new stamped steel one looks more robust and almost like a professional stove cast iron grate. This quick and easy mod definitely upgraded the look and feel of our galley. Highly recommended!
It took me 1/60 hour to complete this modification and cost me $70. In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is easy.
