The locker doors in the berth of our camper were the traditional size and too small to enable a hamper running parallel to the bed.  Even if the hampers were not present, the small doors made no sense to us.

Before Penguin Lockers Were Enlarged

I removed the existing small doors and the built-up cabinet face.  Then I added a new longer door.  I also added a LED light strip with an auto shut off after five-minutes to aid in seeing what we stored.

Penguins Now Have More Space

It has been a wonderful improvement.  We have significantly better access to the space of the locker.  It is also easier to hang shirts.  With the addition of the larger doors, we can get larger items in the locker such as a crab pot when visiting the grandkids.

New Bigger Penguin Cabinet Door

It took me four-hours to measure repeatedly, stain the new doors and install everything.  It cost me $250.  In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is easy.
