Battery Disconnect Guard For RVs and Campers
2012 Ford F-250
2013 Travel Lite SBX 800
We were constantly bumping the battery disconnect by accident and shutting off everything in the camper.
To prevent this from happening, we took on old film container, drilled a hole in the bottom, stuck the disconnect switch shaft through it. Then we reconnected the end of the knob.
Now we can hit the disconnect anytime we want without all the ill-timed blackouts.
It took me a few minutes to complete this modification and didn’t cost me anything. In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is easy.
