Adding 110-Volt and USB Dinette-Area Outlets
2015 GMC 3500
2015 Lance 855S
My camper only had one 110-volt outlet in proximity to the dinette. This is located below the refrigerator at the floor level.
I installed a second floor level outlet near the back of the camper. This outlet is much more convenient to the bathroom where the mirrors are located.
The dinette area also had no USB or power ports. So, I found a wire under one dinette seat and spliced in two power/USB ports under the table area.
Now we can charge our phones and use laptops in our sitting area. If you haven’t seen my table and lagun mounting system modification, feel free check it out.
It took me two hours to complete this modification and cost me $50. In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is medium.
