Overland Expo West Has Been Rescheduled

Overland Expo 2020 West has been rescheduled for July 24-26, 2020 at Fort Tuthill in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Below is the announcement from Nick Jaynes, the Director of Communications for the Overland Expo:

“Self-sufficiency, fortitude and stewardship are at the core of the overlanding spirit and its community. It is important now more than ever that we not lose sight of that spirit or the strength and support we get from the community. We will get through these tough times together.

It is in this spirit that we have rescheduled Overland Expo West to July 24-26, 2020 to preserve this tremendous annual gathering of the overland community at Fort Tuthill in Flagstaff, Arizona.

On Monday, March 16, the Center For Disease Control and Prevention recommended the postponement of all gatherings of 50 or more people for the next eight weeks. Since that announcement, we have been working tirelessly on potential contingency plans for Overland Expo West. The rest of the Overland Expo series will take place as scheduled in 2020.

Although the traditional Overland Expo West dates take place just outside of the CDC’s eight-week ban, we made the difficult decision to reschedule the event to ensure the health and safety of all attendees, exhibitors, providers and staff. We urge all overlanders to heed the advice of local and federal officials and take necessary actions to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Our hearts go out to anyone directly or indirectly impacted by the novel coronavirus. Especially to those who are sick, we extend to you our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. Furthermore, we thank the selfless healthcare workers on the front lines who are working tirelessly to care for people in need.

We are dedicated to making the transition as simple for our community as possible.

Our staff is working remotely until further notice but we can always be reached by email at [email protected], by phone at (317) 207-2089 or watch overlandexpo.com for updates in the coming weeks.
