The 2022 NorthEast Truck Camping Jamborees

Mike Tassinari, Organizer of the Northeast Truck Camping Jamboree, has sent us an update for all of the 2022 Jamborees. There is also an important note about the gathering in Pennsylvania that runs from July 17-22nd. Don’t miss out!

The 2022 Northeast Truck Camping Jamboree Schedule

Here’s the update from Mike Tassinari, aka Mikeee:

Below is the Jamboree schedule for the 2022 season. We would love for you to join us at any of our Jamborees. There are still spots available at all of them. Feel free to email me with any questions.

Important Pennsylvania Jamboree Note:

I’d like to start by sharing some important information about our upcoming Jamboree from July 17-22nd at Mountain Creek Campground in Gardners, Pennsylvania. The discounted campsites for this Jamboree need to be reserved by end of the business day on Monday, May 16th or they will go back into the campground’s inventory. You can still make a reservation after that date, but you will not get the discount and there is no guarantee that you will be with the group.

To sign up, please call the campground at (717) 486-7681. When you call, please tell them that you are a part of the Northeast Truck Camping Jamboree so that you will be assigned a campsite where the group is staying.

After you have reserved a site, please email me.

More details about this Jamboree and our other four Jamborees this year are listed below. Please join us and hang out with fellow truck campers!

Pavilion: I have reserved the enclosed and heated pavilion that’s on the waterfront for the following days and times. Thursday, May 19, 2022 and Friday, May 20, 2022 for all day and night. Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 8:00am to 10:00 am only. We have the hall rented for Saturday night. Sunday, May 21, 2022 we have the pavilion from 8:00am to 10:00am.

Campground Details:

All sites in the safari field have a 50/30/20 amp power pedestal. Water is available at each site. If you want a particular site and it is available, I may be able to assign it to you. Please remember I will need to double up on most if not all of the sites. If you want to be next to someone, please show up together.

If I need additional sites in the Safari Field, I have the ability to add several sites along where the guard shack is located, but in the safari field location. These additional sites will have only a 20-amp service per rig, and water as well. Those of you that have been to this campground in the past know that we can fit 20 plus rigs here.

There may be additional waterfront sites and/or the five sites that are located on the side of the hanger will. They may be available once we arrive, but it will depend on getting access to those sites as the Winter Island Campground also rents this property for boat storage.
