Roadmaster has just announced a new product designed specifically to help tow Jeeps and other automobiles; 2.5-Inch High-Low Receiver Hitches.
The Roadmaster 2.5-inch High-Low Receiver Hitch seems purpose built to help truck camper owners tow a Jeep to the beach, BLM, or trail head. With a 10,000-pound capacity and a 400-pound tongue weight, the new Roadmaster hitch is ready to pull almost any Jeep out there.
Bob Vondra, Publication Manager for Roadmaster Incorporated, added, “Roadmaster’s family of two-inch drop hitches now has some big brothers. We now have a complete line for 2.5-inch receivers. These new hitches have the same purpose as our other high-low receiver hitches, towing a car or Jeep behind a truck camper.
The shanks can be turned up or down to level the towing system and they fit nearly all 2.5-inch receiver hitches without having to use an adapter, resulting in a tighter, more secure connection.
A solid steel shank allows for a 10,000-pound capacity and a 400-pound tongue weight. They are available in four, six, eight and ten-inch sizes.”
