Rig Roundup brings truck campers together for two nights of camping in the Santa Cruz Mountains with mountain biking, surfing, hiking, disc golf, wine and cider tastings, pizza, raffles, and plenty of time to check out fellow truck camping rigs.
Registration includes two nights of camping for one rig and everyone traveling in it, one Saturday pizza dinner, a commemorative stainless steel pint glass, goodie bag, raffle ticket, event sticker, poster, sponsor swag, and more.
Arrival: Friday, November 6 at 2:00 p.m.
Departure: Sunday, November 8
Local area activities include surfing, hiking, disc golf, exploring downtown Felton, and wine and cider tastings. Hallcrest Vineyards is offering Rig Roundup attendees 20 percent off wine tastings throughout the weekend.
Saturday features a guided mountain bike ride led by Sam Randazzo of Santa Cruz Bicycles, departing around 10:30 a.m. The ride is $20 per person and requires intermediate or advanced riding skills. Later that evening, attendees will gather for a catered pizza dinner from Redwood Pizzeria, followed by the Rig Roundup Awards, raffle, and campfire.
Sunday starts with an all-levels yoga session at 11:00 a.m. before the annual Rig Parade heads toward the Santa Cruz coastline.
Camping is on flat ground with portable restrooms and access to a flush restroom inside the winery. Leashed pets are welcome, and attendees must pack out their trash.
