Imagine a device roughly the size of a two-story building capable of transporting your truck camper rig—and you—to any destination on Earth. Want to go to Alaska? Drive your rig into the METCAT II and… Zap! You’re in the Last Frontier (probably). Looking to experience the wonders of Nova Scotia? Pull your rig in and Shazam! You arrive in Canada’s Ocean Playground (we hope). You get the idea.
Now that the METCAT II is ready for its first trial, we’re looking for a few bold adventurers willing to take the leap and test this marvel of technology.
Before you sign up, a word of caution: while we can’t exactly guarantee your safety, rest assured that we’ll cross our fingers and paws and send plenty of positive vibes your way. Never mind what happened during our first METCAT trials in 2014—I’m sure John Mintz is fine… somewhere.
Now if you think this is just a ridiculous ploy to get you to reveal your favorite truck camping destination from the past, you’d be right. Here’s the big question:
“If you could return to one destination you have visited with a truck camper, where would that be?”
