Waking up at 5am somewhere over by the hot springs off the 395, just to get that coveted truck camper spot line up over at The Mill parking lot was always a dream of ours. Walking the lot checking out all the rigs, the setups, the conveniences of being ski-in/ski-out.

Losing a parent and them gifting you the means to have this adventure rig and guiding us through life like a Northstar – so we named her just that.

Mammoth Mountain is our home in the Winter and now the Summer! We love this life and where the Northstar takes us. Our favorite home on wheels.

It was the first sunshine after a couple of days of rainy camping. I was walking up and thought that was a good looking combo, bugs, dirt, tree debris, and all.

We had been dreaming about going to the Bonneville Salt Flats for years. So on our road trip from Arizona to Alaska, we made it happen. However, the salt wasn’t quite dry, and we ended up with our truck covered in salt! So worth it though, probably one of the coolest things we’ve ever done.

I was working in the Washington DC area for a week in May. So, I decided to road trip it from Texas with the Capri. I went down to the Washington Monument one night after dinner and got this shot.

My job provided a hotel while in DC, but the Capri was my hotel for the drive there and back. It took me three days to get there and four days to get home. I visited Shenandoah National Park and Smoky Mountains National Park on the way home. I also did part of the Blue Ridge Parkway and all of the Natchez Trace. It was about 4,000 miles total!

I spent a night here at the coolest dispersed camping spot that I have found. Nobody was out there, and it was on the cliff’s edge. It was pretty amazing.
