The votes are in and the results are clear. Out of six color combinations, two ran away with nearly half the total votes. Soaring Eagle dealers, take note: these are the Aeries to stock!
When we launched the Aerie Decor Battle, the Soaring Eagle team wanted to know one thing—what colors will real truck camper owners prefer?
Our readers answered the call, voting for their favorite combinations among the three new 2026 interiors—Sage Green, Stone Blue, and Fog Gray—and the two exteriors, Platinum Gray and White.
The results were decisive. Some leaned toward the calm sophistication of Sage Green, others championed the bold modernity of Stone Blue, and quite a few stood by the clean, timeless appeal of Fog Gray.
So which combinations rose above the rest? Two clear favorites dominated the vote, capturing nearly half of all ballots cast. The people have spoken, and Soaring Eagle dealers should take note. These are the Aeries to inventory.
For round one, readers decisively chose Platinum Gray as their favorite. This follows a trend we’ve seen in the truck camper world towards charcoal gray exteriors. Yes, it will absorb more heat. But it looks cool doing it, so we evidently don’t care.
This is fascinating. Sage Green clearly has the win. And I’d be hard-pressed to name another camper with cabinets anywhere near this color. Light green isn’t typically something we see in a truck camper. Maybe it is easy being green. Something tells me the Soaring Eagle dealers are about to find out.
The fact that Stone Blue came in second is another indication that truck camper folks are ready for some color. Enough with the grays already! Oh, wait, there are still a good number of readers who voted for Fog Gray. Hmmm… What if we made them choose both the exterior and interior colors together?
And that’s exactly what we did!
Based on this data, the dealers should clearly inventory mostly Platinum Gray exterior campers with either the Sage Green or the Stone Blue interiors. Almost half the vote went to these two color combinations.
In close third, the White exterior with Sage Green should also be a popular seller. Many of us would prefer a lighter exterior color for its ability to reflect heat. And the Sage Green is a winner.
Hopefully, this information is helpful to Soaring Eagle Campers, their dealer network, and customers. It shows how polls can potentially impact the success of a product, and how choosing colors can be fun. Which color combination did I choose? Almost the least favorite: White with Fog Gray. Color me out of step.
