Mark Halverson, Regional Sales Manager of Northwood Manufacturing, has just sent us photos and information on their all new 2009 Arctic Fox 865.  The 865 is a non-slide, basement model truck camper with a rear full dinette, rear kitchen, and mid wet bath layout.

Northwood reports that the 2009 Arctic Fox 865 will fit both long and short box trucks.  Tank capacities for the 865 are 41 gallons fresh (including hot water heater), 32 gallons gray, and 22 gallons black.  The 865 is constructed using Northwood’s fully laminated aluminum frame and fiberglass exterior sidewalls.  Mark Halverson added that the 865 has, “the biggest bathroom of any eight foot camper on the market today.”

Standard features include residential height counter tops, two-way six-cubic foot double-door refrigerator, microwave oven, Kenwood AM/FM CD player, 12-volt disconnect switch, charge wizard, DSI-gas/electric water heater, 20K BTU auto ignition furnace, dual 30-pound propane tanks, bath skylight, multi-speed reversible fan vent, rear door awning, exterior shower with sprayer, sliding battery tray, TV antenna, roof rack and ladder, aluminum bumper with step and hose carrier, basement storage with a slide-out Joey tray, Rieco-Titan electric jacks, and a black water flush system.

Northwood stated the dry weight for the standard Arctic Fox 865 build is 3,234 pounds.  The floor length is 9’ 4”, the interior height is 79”, and the overall length is 17’ 1”.

The MSRP for the 2009 Arctic Fox 865 is $23,315.
