Soaring Eagle’s all-aluminum and composite Adlar series gains off-road and off-grid upgrades and bold new graphics. Ready to fly farther from civilization? The Adlar Overland Editions are built to go!

There are some fascinating changes happening in the truck camper marketplaces. You read that right—marketplaces, plural. You see, there are two distinct truck camper markets: the RV truck camper marketplace and the Overland truck camper marketplace.
The RV marketplace is the traditional truck camper market, where truck campers compete on dealer lots against traditional RV types, including towables and motorhomes. The Overland marketplace is the Overland market blending off-road travel, outdoor adventure, and self-reliant vehicle camping.
Over the past two decades, the Overland market has become nothing less than a phenomenon thanks to the parabolic growth of the Overland Expos and the social media-fueled community around it. That rapid growth has attracted the attention of the RV marketplace, looking to capture some of the Overland youthful energy and expansion.
What’s even more interesting is that the Overland marketplace is starting to take notice of the RV marketplace and absorbing the roughly seven decades of evolution the domestic RV industry represents. So what happens when these two markets get inspired by each other? A new wave of products that aim to capture the best of both worlds. It’s happening.
For 2026, Soaring Eagle is spreading its wings with a new Overland Edition package for its Adlar series of hard side campers. Already known for their value-driven, wood-free construction and durable aluminum-and-composite design, Soaring Eagle campers have been gaining serious attention at Overland Expos across the country. Now the company is taking things a step further with Overland Editions of the Adlar 8.0XLS (full-size long bed), 8.0XL (full-size long bed), 6.5XLS (full-size short bed), 6.5XL (full-size short bed), 6.5 (full-size short bed), 5.5XL (full-size short bed), 6.0 (mid-size short bed), and 5.0 (mid-size short bed).

And yes, you can shut the tailgate on every one of them.
The new Overland Edition ($4,499) comes standard with a Batwing 270 awning, roof racks, MOLLE panels, a RotoPax fuel system, a WaterPORT DayTank with a 23Zero shower enclosure, topographic graphics and quick-detach jack brackets. Let’s take a closer look at each Overland Edition feature and what it brings to the Adlar lineup.

The Batwing 270-degree awning provides wrap-around coverage for shade and shelter. It quickly deploys from the side of the camper, creating a large protected area that’s perfect for relaxing, cooking, or staying dry during rain.

The roof racks span the entire width of the camper and are rated to carry up to 125 pounds. They’re ideal for hauling kayaks, canoes, skis, snowboards, or gear pods turning the roof into valuable storage space.

A pair of 25-inch by 25-inch MOLLE panels, one mounted on each side, offer rugged mounting points for recovery tools, fuel, or outdoor gear. Their heavy-duty design keeps essentials secure and easily accessible on the trail.

A two-gallon RotoPax gasoline tank comes standard for carrying spare fuel in a compact, trail-proven container. Buyers can upgrade to diesel or water tanks or add additional two-gallon containers to extend range or versatility.

The WaterPORT DayTank provides four gallons of pressurized water, ideal for rinsing gear, washing dishes, or taking a quick outdoor shower. It can be pressurized up to 40 psi with a garden hose, bike pump, or air compressor, and its black tank naturally warms in the sun.
To complement the DayTank, a 23Zero shower enclosure is included, offering a private 3-foot by 3-foot space for washing up in the field. It sets up easily alongside the camper, adding comfort and convenience without sacrificing simplicity.

Distinctive topographical exterior graphics complete the Overland Edition, applied using high-quality 3M wrap material. The design gives each camper an expedition-ready appearance that stands out.

Quick-detach jack brackets are also included, allowing owners to remove the jacks for better clearance and reduced weight during travel. This simple upgrade improves handling off-road while maintaining the camper’s easy setup at camp.
Every Adlar already comes standard with a 100-amp-hour heated Bluetooth lithium battery and a 160-watt solar panel, providing a solid foundation for off-grid power. Depending on the model, upgrades are available up to 400 amp-hours of lithium capacity and 360-watts of solar for extended stays away from shore power.

True to Soaring Eagle’s minimalist design philosophy, the interior remains unchanged; simple, functional, and focused on the essentials.
The Soaring Eagle Adlar Overland Edition Package is now available on every Adlar model—from the 5.0 to the 8.0XLS—for $4,499.
