Scout Olympic Pop-Up Revealed

With a modular interior and all-composite construction, the Scout Olympic Pop-Up introduces a new option for full-size truck owners looking for a camper designed around simplicity and off-grid function.

The Scout Olympic Pop-Up version maintains the same footprint as the hard side version; 82.25 inches wide and a 72.25-inch floor length. The compact form keeps the center of gravity low on the road, and interior headspace high when camping.

Roof and Lift System

Scout’s new roof lift system is a manual, patent-pending design—no motors, gears, or electronics. It’s intended to be simple and mechanical, which could prove valuable in the field if something goes wrong or maintenance is needed. The lifting action uses levers and struts, allowing the user to raise and lower the roof by hand.

The roof itself is made from a single molded piece of vacuum-infused fiberglass. This construction method gives it structural rigidity and avoids seams or joints that might leak down the line.

Soft Wall Construction

Scout partnered with Go Fast Campers to produce the pop-up’s soft sidewall system. The result is a three-layer fabric setup built for real-world use.

The outer layer is 300D ripstop nylon with a polyurethane coating for waterproofing and UV resistance. Inside are two additional layers: one clear vinyl window with zip-open function, and one fabric panel for insulation and privacy.

Interior Configuration

Inside, the Olympic Pop-Up offers a modular interior with a front-wall dinette. The dinette seats four adults and converts into a sleeping space. The table drops down, and the cushions rearrange to form a bed.

Scout’s modular approach is all about flexibility. The idea is that you add what you need, when you need it. If you’re heading out solo for a few nights, you might bring just the fridge and cooktop. If you’re planning a longer trip with a partner, you might load in a portable toilet, extra jerry cans, or more storage crates. The open floor plan makes it easier to tailor the space without tearing out fixed cabinetry.

Electrical and Solar

The Olympic Pop-Up comes standard with Scout’s Unbound Power Tower, or UPT. This is a vertically stacked electrical hub designed in collaboration with Victron and Expion360.

The UPT (shown above) includes a 132Ah lithium battery, a solar controller, DC-to-DC charger, USB outlets, and resettable breakers—all mounted visibly on a modular rack. Users can add additional batteries or plug in a Victron inverter as needed.

Two 100-watt solar panels are mounted on the roof, and an external port allows for additional portable panels. The UPT system supports shore power charging as well.

Water, Propane, and Storage

The camper includes a 4.9-gallon portable fresh water tank mounted internally. There are also provisions for two jerry cans, one for water and one for grey water, depending on your setup. A Dometic portable toilet is available, along with a fold-out cooktop that stows away when not in use.

Propane is stored in a vented exterior cabinet and uses a standard 10-pound tank. This is enough to run Scout’s compatible cooktop or heat system, depending on configuration.

Storage space is distributed across the dinette benches, side cabinets, and optional removable storage containers. The interior is open enough to rearrange based on your packing style.

With the same build materials and philosophy behind the hard-wall models, the Olympic Pop-Up offers a lower profile and lighter weight—without walking away from the modular, field-repairable design that defines the brand.

The 2025 Scout Olympic Pop-Up is now available with a base MSRP of $29,490.
