Hotomobil announces critical new changes to their hard-side non-slide fiberglass truck campers for 2026. They also tease a new camper for next year. Have a peek at Atlas!

In January of 2024, Hotomobil launched their European-designed and manufactured hard side fiberglass truck campers in the United States. Until that moment, we had seen European-influenced domestically-manufactured campers on this side of the pond, but rarely had European-designed and built truck campers been brought state-side, much less imported in quantity.
Since then, the team at Hotomobil USA has been working to establish the brand in America taking the campers to Overland Expos across the country. We have had the opportunity to see Hotomobil campers multiple times and have always come away impressed with the distinctly European approach to hard side fiberglass truck campers.

In case you missed our Hotomobil introduction article, Hotomobil is made in Turkey using a one-piece fiberglass shell construction technique. By building their campers in Turkey, Hotomobil is able to build a more modern, premium and well-equipped camper for a lower price than would be possible if the campers were made in the United States or Canada.
2026 Hotomobil Updates
For 2026, Hotomobil has studied our Hard Side Survey Results and listened to feedback from Overland Expo attendees to make a short list of important changes.

New Camper Names
First, they simplified their Gladiator-series model names to the Gladiator XLE (full-size, long bed), Gladiator XL (full-size, short bed), and Gladiator S (mid-size, short bed). They also made key adjustments to the dimensions of these models to ensure they fit domestic full-size and mid-size trucks.
Rieco-Titan Jacks

Another critical change for 2026 is a switch to Rieco-Titan convertible camper jacks across the board.
Not only is Rieco-Titan an established and trusted brand in the United States and Canada, but their convertible jacks can be upgraded to a fully remote-controlled electric jack system. We have Rieco-Titan remote-control electric jacks on our camper and love their reliable performance and stability.
12-volt U-Frigo Air Conditioners

A huge option announcement for 2026 is a new 12-volt U-Frigo brand air conditioner (shown above).

This 45-pound low-profile (6.3 inch high) unit has a 10,000 BTU cooling capability using a 12-volt scroll compressor, 4,500 BTU heating capability and low-noise fans.
Roof Top Tents
The most eye-grabbing update for 2026 is the addition of a roof top tent option—with optional built-in solar panels.

Hotomobil USA states that this feature expands the sleeping quarters on a Gladiator to five.
A roof top tent also gives owners the choice to sleep inside their hard side camper, or sleep on the roof with pop-up camper-like views and connection to the outdoors.

Wood Bathroom Door
A more subtle change is the new wood bathroom door. Hotomobil USA told us that the new door functions better than the original design and adds a touch of warmth and elegance to the interior.
CyberGlad Model

On a completely different note, Hotomobil is continuing their CyberTruck-specific CyberGlad model for 2026. Like all Hotomobil truck campers, the CyberGlad is constructed from a single mold fiberglass shell, and features a dedicated kitchen and lounge area.

For 2026, the CyberGlad is available with a north-south cabover, and the optional roof tent.
New Shell Models

Hotomobil is going to start importing shell units to the United States. These models include the wall coverings, windows, and the door. These units are available for consumers or manufacturers who want to finish them into complete fiberglass campers.
Teasing Atlas
Finally, Hotomobil has teased us about a new model called the Atlas—a universal non-cabover truck camper with a side-opening pop-up roof.
This camper is reported to be just over 330 pounds, with the ability to fit all European and Domestic pickup trucks. More details weren’t available yet, but this should be an interesting debut in 2026.
