Off on its own in a very prominent location at Overland Expo PNW was the 2025 Ultimate Overland Build—a diesel GMC Sierra 2500 HD AT4X AEV Edition with an OEV Back Country slide-in pop-up camper. This build most definitely looked the business.
The fully assembled rig is appearing at the four main Overland Expo events in 2025—Flagstaff, Redmond, Loveland, and Arrington. After that, the rig goes up for auction via Bring a Trailer with proceeds benefiting the Overland Expo Foundation. The sale will benefit initiatives promoting sustainable and responsible travel, protecting public lands, and fostering an inclusive community.
The OEV Back Country uses R8‑rated insulated composite panels and dual‑pane thermal windows.
The electrical system comprises a 220‑watt Victron solar panel, a 270 Ah Battle Born lithium battery, and a Xantrex Freedom X 2000 inverter. Other specs include a 20‑gallon fresh water tank, a Truma AquaGo on-demand water heater, and a Truma VarioHeat furnace.
Exterior accessories include an Alu‑Cab 270-degree awning and an integrated shower cube. The camper body is secured to the truck bed using Torklift Apex Anchors.
The GMC Sierra features Multimatic DSSV dampers, skid plates, winch-capable bumpers, and a Duramax diesel engine. Off-road? For breakfast.
