Bowen Customs Slide-In Camper Beds

The Bowen Customs Slide-In Camper Beds are for slide-in truck campers.

The Bowen Customs Slide-In Camper Bed is an aluminum truck bed designed for slide-in campers. It is designed to retain the factory bed height so the camper sits as low as possible, supporting a lower center of gravity, while also designed with a higher rear departure angle than stock beds to improve clearance on steep terrain.

Each bed includes two rear lower boxes, two fenders, two front body-line trim panels for 5-foot beds, two front lower boxes for 5.5-foot beds and longer, two rear light assemblies, one rear license plate panel, and full-length driver and passenger upper boxes. The upper boxes are fully sealed and designed to keep belongings dry and secure even when the camper is not mounted.

Options include removable tailgates, headboards between cab and camper, auxiliary water tanks with gravity fill and twist in spigot, custom powder coating beyond the standard flat black finish, rear access doors on the upper boxes, gooseneck access doors, camper prep packages with inner access doors and centering wedges or L-brackets, and wider dually-width versions.

For campers with internal tie-downs, all beds include interior access doors. Camper prep packages are specific to each camper and include centering wedges designed to align the camper during loading and lock it into place.

For side-entry campers such as those from Lance and Host, the bed is designed to match the length of a factory dually F-350 or 3500 pickup bed, so the side entry remains functional. All beds are aluminum, powder-coated, built in the United States, and available in production or custom sizes.

Production models are available for most modern trucks on the market, and custom builds can be ordered for unique non-production models with additional lead time.

Bowen Customs Overland Flatbeds

The Bowen Customs Overland Flatbeds are for flatbed truck campers.

The Bowen Customs Overland Flatbed is an aluminum truck bed designed for overland travel. It is designed to be lightweight and durable while providing compatibility with a wide range of vehicles. Each bed is powder-coated in black as standard and built in the United States.

Each bed includes two rear lower boxes, two fenders, two front body-line trim panels for 5-foot beds, two front lower boxes for 6.5-foot beds and longer, two rear taillight assemblies, and one rear license plate panel. For campers with internal tie-downs, the beds include interior access doors; for external tie-downs, attachment points are provided on the exterior.

Options include a rear underbed drawer, additional bedside tie-downs in L-Track or Stake-Side formats, an auxiliary water tank with gravity fill and twist in spigot, custom powder coating beyond the standard black finish, rear access doors on the upper boxes, forward garages for added storage, a gooseneck access door, removable upper boxes designed to mimic a camper bed, a camper prep package with centering wedges to align the camper during loading, and a wider dually-width version.

Bowen Customs Topper Beds

The Bowen Customs Topper Beds are for truck camper toppers.

The Bowen Customs Topper Bed is an aluminum truck bed designed for toppers and wedge campers. It is designed to retain the factory bed height so that toppers sit at the same level as a stock bed and maximize interior living space, while also designed with a higher rear departure angle than factory beds to improve clearance. Full-length upper boxes with passthrough access are designed to expand storage while allowing access from inside the topper.

Each bed includes two rear lower boxes, two fenders, two front body-line trim panels for 5-foot beds, two front lower boxes for 6-foot beds, two rear taillight assemblies, one rear license plate panel, a rear tailgate or swing gate, and full-length driver and passenger upper boxes. All beds are aluminum, powder-coated in black as standard, built in the United States, and available in custom sizes.

Bowen Customs Chassis Cab Camper Beds and Flatbeds

The Bowen Customs Chassis Cabs are for slide-in truck campers.

The Bowen Customs Chassis Cab beds are an aluminum and steel truck bed designed for slide-in and flatbed campers. These beds have many of the design elements of our flatbeds and camper beds above, but are built in a heavy-duty version to accommodate the high payload demands of chassis cab trucks like the Ford F550.

Unlike many aftermarket beds that raise the camper higher, this design is intended to maintain stability while off-road. The bed is also designed with a higher rear departure angle than traditional cab-and-chassis beds to improve clearance on steep terrain.

Each bed includes two rear lower boxes, two fenders, two front lower boxes, two rear taillight assemblies, one rear license plate panel, and full-length driver and passenger side upper boxes (on camper bed models). The upper boxes are fully sealed and designed to provide secure, weather-protected storage.

Options include removable tailgates, auxiliary water tanks with gravity fill and twist in spigot, custom powder coating beyond the standard flat black finish, rear access doors on the upper boxes, gooseneck access doors, and camper prep packages with inner access doors, centering wedges or L-brackets, electrical plug relocation, and camper reinstallation.

The beds are aluminum with a steel subframe, powder-coated, made in the United States, and offered in custom sizes as well as production versions for Ram 4500/5500 (60-inch and 84-inch cab-to-axle) and Ford F-450/F-550 (60-inch, 84-inch, and 120-inch cab-to-axle).
