TCM reader, Cheryl Lane, sent us this email about the National Park Lifetime Senior Pass. It’s best to get it before the deadline this month!
“This is just a reminder that the $10 lifetime Senior Pass to all the National Park system parks is increasing from $10 to $80 on August 28, 2017. If you know anyone who doesn’t have one yet, you might want to remind them to get one before August 28th.
I highly advise each member of a couple to get their own card, as they are not transferable from one person to another. I found a list of places where you can purchase them in each state. Just don’t wait too long, as many sites are running out of them. Or, for additional $10, you can buy them online.
I have used my pass in National Parks, for half price camping fees in the Kancamagus campgrounds in New Hampshire, for National Historic Sites like Saint-Gaudens in Cornish, New Hampshire, etc. It’s a great pass to have!” – Cheryl Lane
