VIDEO VIEW: 2009 Northstar 9.5 Igloo Model U

Today, it's official.  Truck Camper Magazine's new truck camper is a 2009 Northstar 9.5 Igloo Model U.  We picked up the Northstar at East End Campers in Southold, New York in mid-July. 

With this Video View, we introduce the 9.5 Igloo and give you our first impressions.  As we get to know the camper, we'll be reporting on specific features such as the cassette toilet system, the Dometic windows, and the Honda eu2000i generator.

The story behind, “Video View: 2009 Northstar 9.5 Igloo”

Our first official truck camper was a 2008 Lance 1055.  Lance was our first sponsor so we accepted a truck camper from Lance first.  Northstar sponsored Truck Camper Magazine just three hours after Lance did.  That's why we now have a Northstar.  We keep things simple around here.

The video itself was shot in multiple locations.  Most of the interior shots were taken at East End Campers in New York.  The exterior video was shot near our headquarters in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  In the upcoming weeks and months we will be bringing you many more Video Views of truck campers.  Most of these videos were shot on location during our mini tour this summer.

What is a Video View?

A Video View is something between a camper overview and a critical review.  The purpose of a Video View is to give you an overview of a particular camper and show you what makes the camper unique in the marketplace.  We will also share with you our first impressions of the camper and its features.
