Livin' Lite has updated their website with an all-new 10' hard side truck camper, the Camplite TC5.7.  The camper is all-aluminum and designed for small, fuel-efficient trucks including the Chevy Colorado, S10, Canyon, Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, and Nissan Frontier.

Camplite is reporting the dry weight of the first model at 950 pounds.  To achieve their weight goal, Camplite has constructed their camper frame, skin, and interior cabinetry from aluminum.  According to Camplite, there is no wood in their truck camper.

The camper features vacuum bonded walls and a vacuum bonded roof.  The windows are lightweight insulated thermal pane acrylic windows from Dometric.  The bed is approximately 60" by 80" and the dinette table is removable.  A refrigerator and air conditioner is optional.

We will have more information about this camper and another model, the Camplite TC8.7, in the near future.  In the mean time, check out Camplite's updated website for more information: http://www.livinlite.com/hstcamper-overview.php
